Hearing rumours of more closures of large bookstore closures. Awful stuff. Even though I've published via the e-book system, I have trouble imagining how to spend a rainy day if there are no paper books to curl up around and transport myself into. I guess this generation of kids being born now will probably only see paper books in old libraries and museums some day. Bizarre.

Wow, this Facebook stuff is really time-consuming. How on earth do we fit everything into a day any more? I'm finding that the brief hour between 11pm and midnight is the only time I have free and, of course, all my sensible friends are already in bed by then. So I'm updating Facebook and blogs when people aren't there to read them. Aaarrgghh. Don't imagine anyone gives a darn anyway :)
Wow. Feeling very tech-savvy now. Finally got myself on Facebook. It's way too easy to get sucked into searching for old friends and reading updates. I've resisted the temptation to have updates sent to my phone. I'm busy enough as it is! I accidentally woke up a facebook friend the other night when I posted a message to them and their phone beeped at them at 11:30pm at night.
What, isn't everyone up at this time? It's the only chance I get to do anything these days. Leonidis' assignments are almost over for the term, so I can go back to martial arts training. yay. 80AD is chugging along on Smashwords, but needs more exposure. Looking at sending to paper publishers as well. Well, it's done. Yay. At last I got the time to do the final tweaking required to upload 80AD onto the Smashwords website. Now it's up to friends and family to help out by making it go viral.
C'mon guys! Spread the word. |
